Holiday Hearts














Materials:

  • mini candycanes
  • Wilton® Candy Melts in white and red
  • sprinkles of your choice (optional)
  • wax paper
  • microwavable bowl

Procedure:

Step 1: Lay out a fairly large sheet of wax paper on your work surface. Place candy canes facing each other so that they create little hearts.

 



Step 2: Use the instructions on the back of the candy melts bag to melt a handful of candy melts in a microwaveable bowl. (Note: Its better to melt a little bit at a time so that the candy doesn't harden to your bowl.)



Step 3: Carefully spoon the melted chocolate into the hearts that you created and spread it out evenly. Also, if you want to add sprinkles, add them right after filling the hearts so that they stick to the chocolate. 




Step 4: Place them on a cute little plate and enjoy :)
